Directions to the Facility:

One Shell Square is located on Poydras St. between Carondelet St. and St. Charles Ave and is within walking distance of most downtown and French Quarter hotels.

Poydras St. is easily accessible via either I-10 or Hwy.90.

Elmwood Fitness Center is located on the 13th floor of the parking garage annex and the elevators are located just inside the Carondelet St. entrance.

* Validated parking is available in the garage.


Membership Requirements:
A willingness to follow the rules of the dojo and to support the dojo through the
payment of dues.

Regular monthly dues - $60
Monthly dues for students, Elmwood Fitness Center members, and
additional family members - $45
Monthly dues, out-of-town members* $25

* Out of town members are those living farther than normal commuting distance.
     Approval of Chief Instructor required.

Members are encouraged to join the USAF. USAF members have the opportunity to participate in rank testing and to attend Aikido camps and seminars hosted by the USAF and other USAF dojo.

Aikido members are not required to become regular members of Elmwood Fitness Center. Uniforms are available for purchase.

Elmwood Fitness Center Downtown is open to persons 14 years and older only. We hope to offer a childrens' class at another location in the future. Please contact us if you are interested in Aikido for children.
